The recent Cereals and Highland Shows brought considerable visitors to the Vicon stand, where a full range of machinery – including the very latest in sprayers, spreaders, baling and precision farming equipment – were on-hand for visitors to assess.
“There was tremendous optimism from those attending the shows that they were looking to spend money on new equipment,” says Vicon sales manager David Furber. “Our display gave those customers an impressive shop window to look at the latest products that the Vicon range has to offer.”
For Vicon, the two shows were considered a great success based on the level of enquiries generated from farmers looking at the firm’s latest precision farming technology including weigh-cell spreaders, GPS machine terminals and automatic boom control systems.
Visitors to the stand could also enjoy a complimentary coffee and relax.
“There is no pressure for anyone visiting us – we try to make shows an enjoyable experience and it certainly looked that way, given the number of cuppa’s we’ve made for those who came round for a chat,” he says.
